Nokia E5 product review:
The Nokia E5 has too many features but has many flaws which just cannot be overlooked. The QWERTY keypad buttons are definitely a pain in the neck. I wonder if you really want to use it for typing anything at all. This is the only major flaw that one may find in the Nokia E5. However if you do not use the keypad too often, this is a very good and cheap business phone if you can afford it. The mobile looks very rich and keeps things pretty simple. In order to make the typing easier Nokia has raised the keys a little bit in order to give you some comfort with the typing. I had no other way to avoid giving this phone a 8 out of 10. The only minus point of the Nokia E5 is its keypad ergonomics. The select, cancel and the navigation keys are also not so comfortable to work with. The camera also is not so crisp. The multimedia performance is just above average and nothing so special except for the 3D support that it provides. Due to this I will not recommend you to buy the Nokia E5 which is available at the rate of Rs.10,500. The phone however has a few plus points for the busy businessman who wants a good PDA which can serve him in keeping track of his daily schedule. I would recommend you to take a look at the Nokia C6 which is available at Rs.13500.

Plus Points:
• 3G bandwidth support
• Instant messenger and lot of other services which enhance your internet browsing experience.
• Intranet
• Nokia messaging: email and chat
• Notes, Quick Office suite, Dictionary, Converter and calculator may make a businessman want to buy it.

Minus Points:
• Poor camera.
• Poor video recording which gives you only 15fps recording capacity.
• Internet is not so speedy with this mobile.
• Very poor ergonomics.
• A hard to work with 5-way navigation key.

Browsing bandwidth: 2G
Camera: 2MP
Overall Rating: 8.5/10

Product description:
The Nokia C3 has got tough looks and a tough build too. A good wide screen is good for browsing the internet or at least to read you e-mails. The phone looks pretty good. It has got the QWERTY keypad. The keys on either side are quite spacey. The ones in the centre are the ones which may trouble you if you have larger fingers. Apart from that the interface is quite good. This is almost a business level smart phone with its WLAN connectivity. Nokia does not specify whether there is any support for 3G in this phone. I personally feel that it does not support 3G (it really doesn’t). Nokia C3 is actually the basic Symbian S40 series phone equipped with a few killer performance enhancers topped up with great internet and LAN connectivity options. Even then the Nokia C3 does well with the fine technical details which make it a very strong killer smart phone. This is definitely a great competition to the other phones belonging to this price category. EGPRS definitely enhances the browsing speed of the device provided your IP provider provides you the necessary bandwidth. At Rs5700 the Nokia C3 is undoubtedly a very sweet and great deal. And mind you, this is not a messaging phone. You may send small important e-mails with the QWERTY keypad of the Nokia C3. I doubt a breeze like messaging on the go with the Nokia C3 ‘s keypad. The 5-way navigation key could have been a bit more better. It is difficult to press these keys with larger fingers.

Plus Points:
• Looks decent.
• Excellent speed.
• Good customizable widgets.
• WLAN support means that you need no cable to connect your mobile to your laptop.
• Instant messenger and lot of other services which enhance your internet browsing experience.

Minus Points:
• The 5-way navigation key of the Nokia C3 is a pain to work with for a few people with bigger fingers.
• Only 8BG memory support.
• Too many widgets may clutter your screen and make it look like an utter mess.
• A bit more larger screen would have made the Nokia C3 a bit more sweeter deal. The mobile gives too many internet connectivity options and hence serves its purpose to be a major browsing phone. Navigating through and across WebPages needs a bit more wider screen than the one in Nokia C3.

Browsing bandwidth: 2G
Camera: VGA
Overall Rating: 8.5/10

Product description:
• The Nokia C2 -00 proves the smartness of Nokia with the inclusion of CSD and HSCSD. But, the main feature which makes it different from Nokia C1-01 is the detailed contacts information. Apart from that, the C2-00 is almost similar to the C1 series handsets in terms of functionality. A slight improvement in quality comes into vision in this version. In fact the quality improvement is a bit more rampant in this one. The price is quite fair. And this time Nokia sticks to a better ergonomics as it did in the case of Nokia C1-01. Typing is a breeze in this set. Overall the C2-00 is quite good. The off-white band surrounding the screen is similar in all the color ranges. Overall the Nokia C2-00 gives a satisfactory performance. I heart fully recommend this product to be a good guy as compared to C1-01 if your pocket can afford a slightly bigger hole in it. Overall the set is just great for its price tag.

Plus Points:
• External memory support of up to 32GB.
• GPRS, CSD and HSCSD technology makes the internet a bit snappier.
• Radio recording.
• Good internet speed.
• Quality of the photos is slightly better.
• Quality of the transferred data is excellent.

Minus Points:
• None in particular except for the 5-way navigation key which is a pain to work with for people with bigger fingers.

Connectivity: Bluetooth, USB 2.0, GPRS
Browsing bandwidth: 2G
Camera: VGA
Overall Rating: 6/10

Product description:

• The Nokia C1-02 is the costlier sibling of the Nokia C1-02. The keys in the phone are not as comfortable for typing as in the Nokia C1-01. There is absolutely no reason why one should shell extra money on this phone. The specifications of Nokia match that of Nokia N1-01. The ergonomics of this phone is pretty poor. It doesn’t look so posh too. The 5-way navigation key in both these models is a great headache and is the main ergonomic problem. The features work fine. The live radio recording is pretty useless as the quality is absolutely not so good. In the digital age nobody dreams of radio recording. Many songs are available for download on the internet and that too for free! I do not recommend this phone to anybody. If you really want a basic level phone I would recommend the C1-01. Its ergonomics are lot more better than the Nokia C1-02 and it gives you all the features of Nokia C1-02 at a lower cost. I still wonder why Nokia ever launched this mobile.

Plus Points:
• Good looks.
• Memory support of 32GB.
• Radio recording
• Internet connectivity.

Minus Points:
• Basic level camera.
• Not particularly good at any work. Even messaging is a pain sometimes. Some feel comfortable with the keypad keys sticking out. Though it is not so comfortable for typing messages for a very long time.
• Though it supports browsing, browsing is never fun on such a small screen.

Nokia C1-01 review

Mobile: Nokia C1-01

Specifications:
Rate: Rs.2250-2500
Ergonomics: 9/10
Weight: 78.8 grams
Screen Resolution: 128*160pixels with a 1.8” screen
OS: Symbian40
Input medium: Keypad
Design Form: Bar type
Battery Backup: 8-10hours talktime
Memory Support: 32GB(external), 64MB(internal)
Multimedia support: Yes (supports both audio and video), MMS, Emailing and FM Radio available
Supported Markup languages: HTML and JavaScript.
Connectivity: Bluetooth, USB 2.0, GPRS
Browsing bandwidth: 2G
Camera: VGA
Overall Rating: 8/10

Product description:

• The Nokia C1-00 is a well designed and well laid-out set and is worth every penny that you invest in buying it. The keypad makes it a sweet deal for the message lovers. Messaging on the go is absolute fun with the Nokia C1-01. The set is a decent looking one. Some awesome shades do make the C1-01 look awesomely funky though. The available features like the Opera-Mini browser, Calendar, Clock, Advanced calculator, Expense manager, World clock, Converter and Organiser make the Nokia C1-01 a very sweet deal. But don’t be fooled by all these options. The set is an average performer and is particularly good at almost nothing in particular to boast of. The keypad is made up of hard plastic keys, which makes messaging a great pleasure. The Nokia C1-01 looks much tougher and does have a tough build. I give it an eight just because of the extensive 32GB external memory support and internet connectivity option at a very low and reasonable cost. But the audio output quality is just basic level and is absolutely no pleasure.

Plus Points:
• Great looks.
• Live Radio recording
• Awesome external memory support of 32GB.
• Good User Interface.
• Good and durable keypad which is ideal for messaging.
• Internet connectivity.

Minus Points:
• It is true that the features of the Nokia C1-01 are really great. But all the features including the camera are basic ones and do not give you a real punch as in the high end phones.
• You can expect the Nokia C1 -01 to be a set which has a little bit of everything. It’s just a jack of all trades and master of none. You may buy this one if you want Internet connectivity and multimedia service at a very low cost.
• Browsing is definitely no pleasure with such a small screen. This minus point can however be overcome by connecting the Nokia C1-01 to the PC for browsing purposes.

Nokia 5233 - Specifications | Nokia 5233 Reviews

Mobile: Nokia 5233

Rate: Rs.7000
Ergonomics: 8/10
Weight: 113grams (with stylus)
Screen Resolution: 640*360pixels (16:9 aspect ratio)
OS: Symbian60
Input medium: Touchscreen
Design Form: Bar type
Battery Backup: 8-10hours talktime
Memory Support: 16GB
Multimedia support: Yes
Connectivity: CSD, HCSD, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth version 2.0
Browsing: 2G
Camera: 2MP
Overall Rating: 8/10

Product description:
5233 is one of the best phones released by Nokia so far. It has everything that can be expected from a smart phone and it also gives you the kick of having a modern gadget. A wonderful touch-screen (which responds pretty well) and a snappy interface makes Nokia 5233 stand out in its own niche category. The music sounds great with the headphones plugged into the ears. The bass and treble modes sound too good. The maximum volume of the mobile is not much high but the quality of sound is excellent. You can expect good bass on this one, but, not as much as in the high end phones. Watching videos on Nokia 5233 is great fun. The photographs taken are quite good and the camera responds pretty well. The screen o Nokia 5233 shows you nothing in a sunny environment. The on-screen keyboard is good (you get both: the mobile keypad and QWERTY keypad on this phone depending on how you hold the phone: vertically or horizontally). Handwriting recognition is available. The browsing speed of 5233 is also pretty good. Nokia 5233 has been the best pick of many technical magazines so far. All this is available at a rate of just Rs.7000-7500 (prices will differ from place to place). Overall this set gives you something more than what you might expect from a mobile having this price tag. I recommend Nokia 5233 with closed eyes to anyone who wants to buy a mobile in this price category.

Plus Points:
· Great looks.
· Good camera.
· Good User Interface.
· Good and decent onscreen keypad.

Minus Points:
· The great Nokia 5233 comes with a single flaw. Its alarm clock. It does not shut down after pressing any button except the power button. If you press the red key the 5233 goes to snooze mode and stays in that mode until and unless you switch it off. But this is not a major flaw as compared to the overall performance of the set.
